My fiancée refused to disclose her age

Dear Ada,
I am a
35-year-old guy in a relationship with a lady since two years ago, she is
reluctant to disclose her age to me and I want to know because I don’t want to
marry someone who is older than myself. Since she claimed to love me, she should
disclose her age. Please advise me on whether I should continue with the
relationship or call it quit.

Hello Daniel,
I don’t believe that age differences can
be an impediment to one’s relationship. It is too minor a thing for a guy to
abandon a rewarding and long-lasting relationship. If she lies and tells you
that she is 25 years and you later found out that she is 35, the knowledge may
spell doom in your relationship. This is the trend some ladies now apply so she
is not the only person. Forget the issue of age and enjoy your
relationship.

I
need your assistance before I commit suicide. I have been hurt severally and my
heart has in the past been broken by wicked Lagos guys who specialise in using
and dumping ladies.
A
year ago, I met a guy who pretended as if he was an angel. He proposed to me
for marriage. Later on, we went for introduction and intimated our family
members about marriage our plans.
Recently,
I went to his house to prepare his dinner but met a fat and fair in complexion
lady. To my utmost surprise, he treated me like a stranger in the presence of
the other lady. I quietly went home sad and disappointed.
I
have called him on several occasions, trying to know why he treated me that way
but he kept pretending as if the phone lines were breaking.

help me in any way you can.

I really empathize with you because it is shocking to find out that someone you are preparing to marry is dating another lady. To worsen the matter, he treated you like a stranger in the presence of the other lady, which means he likes her more than you.
Report him to his closest friend or his parents and see if they will talk to him.Also, give him audience in case he decides to come and explain to you why he behaved that way, but if he feels he is no longer interested in you which his attitude showed, pray to God to give you a suitor that will love you sincerely. There is a reason for everything that happened on earth, so be happy and behave as if nothing happened.
