The Nation, Mr. Lekan Otufodunrin, invites the public to his 50th birthday
lecture and exhibition on Friday, May 9, 2014.
Scheduled to hold at the
Auditorium of the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos, the event
will begin at 10.00am, under the chairmanship of the President Guild of Editors
and Managing Director, Sun Newspapers. Mr. Femi Adesina. The programme will
feature exhibition of my publications and others by Media Non Governmental
Organisations.
The topic of the lecture
which the celebrant will deliver is “Reinventing Journalism practice in
Nigeria: The need for conscious media career development”.
Discussants of the lecture
are Editor, Sunday Punch, Toyosi Ogunseye, Executive Director, Media Support
Centre, Wale Fatade, and Treasure, Controller, Corporate Development, Research
and Strategy, Radio Nigeria, Lagos Operations Funke Durodola.
