Inspire 101 gets UBEC endorsement

Iheme

Inspire 101, a book on inspirational quotes written by Nollywood actor, philanthropist and educationist, Mr. Osita Iheme (MFR) aka Pawpaw has been endorsed by Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
Following the endorsement, UBEC has contracted Africana First Publishers plc to print and distribute copies of the book to different schools in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital territory (FCT) to form part of their library and research materials. Inspire 101 the book of inspiration quotes was reviewed by highly respectable individuals like Professor Pat Utomi, Mr. Dimgba Igwe and ace comedian, Ali Baba. It was also vetted by Nigeria Educational Regulatory Commission (NERDC).
In a chat with Iheme, the celebrated A-list actor, he said: “This is a dream come through, I pray and believe that the inspire 101 will have a direct positive impact on students and any other person that reads it.  It is the fragment of my thoughts and beliefs that drove me and elevated me from my not too comfortable background to a better person in the society. People forged from the background of lack and insufficiency can rise to become a beacon of hope and inspiration to others,” Iheme enthused.
The multiple awards winner who recently bagged the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award in best comedy actor category went further: “As role interpreters, our fans erroneously believe that what we act in movies depicts our true self but this cannot be further from the truth; Inspire 101 which are my original quotes is a peep through the window of my soul.”
The Imo state born actor who is very passionate about education and youth empowerment is the initiator and promoter of the annual Osita Iheme quiz competition which holds in Imo state every December.  Findings are that he is working round the clock to institute the quiz competition in Lagos schools too.
