Young African Writers honours Jimoh Ibrahim, others

Young African Writers under the aegis of Servant-Leadership Group International is set to honour Nigerian businessman, publisher and chairman of Global Fleet and Energy, Dr. (Bar.) Jimoh Ibrahim (OFR) and 14 other notable Africans for Global recognition.
They include entrepreneurs, academics and public servants who have distinguished themselves in service delivery chain with spectacular impact on society.
Tagged: “Servant-Leadership International Award and Hall of Fame,” its organisers said the award is based on unrivalled achievements in service delivery index geared towards attaining
Africa's 2015 target for Millennium Development Goals, (MDGs). The Award
is also in honour of individual concrete effort towards the advancement of Democracy and good governance in sub - Sahara Africa.
The event scheduled to take place at the prestigious executive conference hall of Sheraton
Marine Hotels, Cotonou on September 27, 2013 is being packaged by Medias Consultent d'Afrique.
According to the agency Nigeria's bureau officer, Mr. Ovi Kuponu, other Nigerian nominees include Ondo state governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Dr. Joe Okei - Odumakin of Campaign for Democracy (CD); Prof. MKO Padonu, a World Health Organisation (WHO) consultant.
Other Africans on the list are a Cotonou based industrialist Monsieur Oke Magloire and Mr, Geoffery Omedo of UNIDO Kenya amongst others.
