In Christendom, Easter is an annual celebration of the
resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1Corinthians 15:22
says: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
Man was conceived and born in sin, but God’s immutable and
everlasting love towards mankind made Him to send His only son to die for us
and give us eternal life.
We have been purchased by the blood Jesus Christ shed on the
cross of Calvary. This makes us different and special from others. So, we no
longer live our lives but Christ lives in us.
The power of His resurrection gives us unflinching assurance
to overcome the world with its challenges we encounter on a daily basis. Are
you going through trials and tribulations that you are asking when all will be
well? Are you finding it difficult to meet your needs? Have you been wrongly
set up and accused of what you did not do? Have your family members and friends
abandoned you because you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and
Saviour? Do not be afraid because our Lord is there for you to keep you from
all ills and give you an expected end. All you need to do is to trust and
depend on His Resurrection power to do that which no man can do for you.
Even as we look to the future with hope and enthusiasm, let
us celebrate Easter with Joy and express gratitude to God for giving us His
son, Jesus Christ, who died to redeem us from sin. Let us also live a life
worthy of emulation. So that when Christ, who is our life shall appear, then we
shall appear with him in glory. Let us remember that Jesus Christ will appear
soon and be ready for the rapture.
Happy Easter!
