Invisible Borders team on the Road: Ivory Coast

An update on Invisible Border’ journey to Saravejo from Lagos, revealed that three weeks into their epic road trip has been eventful.
“The Road Trip has already been eventful, with long border delays, inspiring interventions and wonderful community interactions,” said the team.
The artists initially spent time in Lagos, immersing themselves in the city and soaking up its vibrancy. The Artist Talk and Symposium was held at the Goethe Institut in Lagos.
“Here are Emeka and Dawit, still looking fresh after a long 2 nights at the border due to visa delays. They have finally managed to join the other artists in Abidjan and already the work has begun! On their way so far, they have held creative meetings with organisations -Nima Muhinmanchi Art and The Global Critic Clinic and The Foundation for Contemporary Art Ghana that have inspired some of the wonderful works that can be accessed via online applications. There are some brilliant insights from some of the road trip artists documented by TVC News with some exclusive footage of life on the road.”
They thanked their friends and supporters for helping to make this year’s Road Trip a reality. “Stay linked in with the app and check out our Facebook page for regular updates. It’s already been a trip to remember and it’s just the beginning!”
