The city of Lagos will come alive on
Friday May 17, 2013 evening, as Michelangelo Productions is set to thrill
audience with its maiden edition of Butterscotch Evening.
Speaking at a press briefing recently,
the Project Manager of Michelangelo Productions, Ayana Ajibola, said the event,
which is first of its kind night of nostalgia, romance and fine international
cuisine would take place on May 17, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel
& Suites, Lagos.Furthermore, she said that the event which promises to be a special night will kick off at 6pm prompt.
In her words: “The Butterscotch Evening will be “a night filled with unmatched entertainment”. It is
tailored to discerning A-list Lagos executives and will treat the audience to the soulful lyrics of Johnny Gill, sixth member of the Rhythm & Blues band, New Edition, known for his signature song “My, My, My” which has been included on several romantic compilations plus the tongue in cheek crackles of acclaimed comedy king, Bill Bellamy, who is a regular guest on the Chelsea Lately Show.
“Guests will also be thrilled to the
gravelly soulfulness of our very own Waje and Praiz as well as the sensuality
of glamorous burlesque superstar Immodesty Blaize – Britain’s answer to Dita
von Teese; all accompanied by a five-course meal prepared by the award winning
world famous chef, Aldo Zilli,” she said.
Nigerian Rhythm & Blues
sensation, Praiz expressed his enthusiasm to be a part of such an eclectic line
up. Songstress Waje, who will also play at the Butterscotch Evening, was
represented by her manager, Mr. Godwin Tom at the press briefing. He also
shared her excitement towards the event.
The Butterscotch Evening would be compered by Multiple Award
winning Nigerian TV presenter/Producer, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere.
