Baileys thrills consumers at the Sisters with Soul concert

In the spirit of celebrating women,Baileys, the premium Irish cream drink from the stables of Diageo Brands Nigeria hosted exquisite ladies to a time out with legendary queen of Soul/R’n’B, Mary J. Blige (MJB), during the “Sisters with Soul” concert in Lagos.
The spectacular event which took place at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, last Friday, was attended by the crème de la crème in the world of business and entertainment. The award winning singer, songwriter and producer, thrilled guests with her delectable tunes that left them asking for more.
Nigerian queen of soul, Tiwa Savage, made a surprise appearance at the concert to the delight of the cheering crowd. Savage, who performed at a grand reception to launch the new Baileys bottle earlier this year, got the crowd to a resounding applause as she performed her solo track “Jesus loves me”.
It would be recalled that Baileys, erstwhile known for its short bottle was recently re-launched in a new elegant bottle, giving it an enchanting look that leaves its admirers desirous of the creamy spirit drink.
Other artistes at the concert included Ms. Jaie, Eva, Emma Nyra, Victoria Kimani, Jodie, Zaina, Nikki Laoye and Temmy Dollface with special appearance by DJ Cuppy from the United Kingdom.
Speaking at the concert, Mr. Felix Enwemadu, General Manager, Diageo Brands Nigeria, said Mary J. Blige is a highly respected singer who represents the spec for Baileys target consumers, the stylish and trendy woman.
“Baileys is a brand that celebrates the stylish and contemporary woman. We are very proud to host Mary J. Blige in Nigeria. MJB represents the modern and trendy woman to whom Baileys appeals. This concert is unique because it featured only female artiste and it provided a veritable platform for Baileys to connect more with its esteemed consumers” Enwemadu said.
In a way only Baileys can, guests at the event were treated to a special make up session at the Baileys corner, which left them looking gorgeous for the night.
