Butterscotch Evening takes music, cuisine to The Next Level



 
After successfully hosting the maiden edition of an evening filled with comedy, music and haute cuisine on Saturday, May 4, 2013, organisers of Butterscotch Evening has announced its second edition.
Themed: “The Next Level,” the event is scheduled for 7pm on November 9, 2013, at the Eko Convention Centre Eko, Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to them, it promises to be an exciting evening as Grammy Award Winning American Rhythm and Blues Group, Teddy Riley and Blackstreet will perform alongside Nigeria's music icon Sir Shina Peters, Mavin’s First Lady, Tiwa Savage and Project Fame Winner, Chidinma.
Blackstreet, which was founded by Teddy Riley, is famous and loved for hit tracks such as ‘No Diggity’, ‘Booti Call’, ‘Before I Let You Go’, ‘Joy’ and ‘Don’t Leave Me’.
 Also, five-course-dinner that will be served to guests will be prepared by celebrity Chef, Alan Coxon, a renowned food archaeologist and one of the favourite TV chefs of all time. Coxon has established a reputation as one of the world’s favourite TV chefs and presenters with exemplary culinary talent and an unparalleled knowledge of the earliest origins of ingredients. 
Daily Newswatch also gathered that the dance segment of the event would be brought to guests by a dance group named “Flawless” alongside CEO dancers. This amazing United Kingdom street dance troupe, Flawless, competed on the third series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. It also collaborated with Kylie Minogue at the diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II.  
 The Black-Tie event will be hosted by Beat FM’s on air personality, Toolz, while the disc jockey for the evening is DJ Spinall. Tickets are available at Terra Kulture, Soul Lounge and Swe Bar.
