It was a miraculous occurrence yesterday when an Aero contractors plane lost one of it’s tyres upon landing in Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. We gathered that the plane which departed Abuja had former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nasir el-Rufai, on board, among other 103 other passengers.
WIth joy for surviving the mishap without a scratch, el Rufai shared the news on Twitter page and tweeted: "Upon landing in Lagos, our Aero aircraft lost a tyre. The pilot did a great job," he said.
This happened barely few days after he lost his brother, Ibrahim el-Rufai, nephew and three of their friends in a car crash on December 21, 2013.
