For ladies who think that having a healthy hair in Nigeria is hard, especially, those whose hairs have damaged, distressed or become porous, some tested and trusted products have been unveiled to solve their hair problems.
Schwarzkopf in collaboration with Lapresario launched her hair care products on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Airport Hotel, Ikeja in Lagos, Nigeria. The five hair care products for women and men of taste Schwarzkopf unveiled include: BC Rescue Shampoo, BC Dandruff Control Shampoo, BC Repair Rescue Conditioner, BC Repair Rescue Treatment and BC Miracle Oil.
Hosted by the Regional Technical Adviser of Schwarzkopf, Mr. Roland Abikaram, the event had in attendance the press and hairdressers from different parts of Lagos including students from a hairdressing school who were sensitized on the efficacy and the usage of the products.
Rowland, whose schedule covers about 14 countries and responsible for Middle East and Africa said Henkel owns Schwarzkopf which is divided into sectors namely: retail and professionals. “Our factories and laboratories are based in Germany. We are 115 years old and have over 5,000 products from different segments but we are starting with five products and premium hair care range including cell perfector C-18 to bring back hair to its natural state. Schwarzkopf is derived from two German words ‘Schwarz’ which means ‘Black’ and ‘Kopf’ which means ‘Head’. Schwarzkopf means ‘Black head’,” he explained.
According him, 95 percent of their products can fit all types of hair perfectly. “Nigerian ladies want quality hair products to get its benefit and to avoid irreversible damage. Schwarzkopf are for A and B class of people but that does not mean that a lower class person cannot have it. You need a small quantity of Schwarzkopf to achieve great result. It is sold at an affordable price,” he added.
Also speaking, The Chief Operations Officer (COO) Schwarzkopf, Mr. Yomi Oketope, said the vision of Schwarzkopf is “to deliver superior value to our customers for only the best is good enough.
